James G. Lahti, MD, MPH, is a board-certified dermatologist. A native of the Chicagoland area, he received his medical degree from Northwestern Medical School and completed residencies in internal medicine at Harvard University and dermatology at the University of Maryland, where he served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Dermatologic SurgiCenter in Philadelphia and a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a clinical instructor at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Lahti is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology,
a diplomate of Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Skin Cancer Foundation, the Chicago Dermatologic Society, the American Medical Association, and the Great Lakes Dermatological Society.
